LAZY J SILVER offers slow fashion jewellery handcrafted in Central Queensland by the owner of Sterling Co Jewellery, Kelsey.

"Silversmithing came about when I was 4 months pregnant(2021) with my son and the realization that I would be doing a lot more house sitting once he was born. After 5 years of rural contracting (fencing, mustering, yard building etc.) I knew I wouldnt adjust easily to "being still", I couldnt turn to my trade as a hairdresser, so I was on a mission to find something to keep my mind busy and this is when I came across the metalsmithing world.

" Id always loved making stuff from metal, be it stay posts, dog cages, trough covers or yard building. Metal seemed to come natural to me. So when I came across an American metalsmith on Youtube making saddle conchos I was obsessed and wanted to try my hand at it."

"This new found obsession mixed with my love for jewellery naturally lead to me wanting to create my own line. These pieces below are designed and handcrafted by myself which can take anywhere from 4 hours to 4 days to make, they will be small batches with only 1-3 pairs made of each design."
